We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we will be camping is the traditional territory of the Algonquin First Nation. We recognize the Algonquin people's ongoing connection to this land and their stewardship of it for thousands of years. We honour the elders, past, present, and future, and offer our gratitude for their continued care of the land.
As we enjoy the beauty and wonder of this land, we commit to respecting the land, water, animals, and all living beings that call this place home. We acknowledge the ongoing challenges faced by Indigenous communities and are committed to promoting reconciliation and creating a more just and equitable society.
