Your Role: Secretary

As the Secretary of Out at Camp, you are the backbone of our organization's administrative framework. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our team, maintaining our records meticulously, and helping us stay organized and compliant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record Keeping: Accurately document all board meetings, including drafting agendas, taking minutes, and distributing them to relevant parties.
  • Organizational Documentation: Maintain all essential organizational records, including bylaws, policies, and membership lists.
  • Communication Management: Handle official correspondence, ensure timely responses, and manage the organization's calendar.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Assist with the preparation of official reports and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule and organize board meetings and other official gatherings, providing logistical support as needed.

Qualifications

  • Administrative Expertise: Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a non-profit or board setting.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional organizational skills and a meticulous approach to documentation and record-keeping.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Discretion: Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient with office software, virtual meeting platforms, and other technologies used in modern office settings.
