Your Role: Social Media Specialist

As a Social Media Specialist, you are the voice and the visual storyteller of Out at Camp. You have the power to inspire, engage, and connect with our community and allies through compelling content and strategic social media campaigns.


  • Content Creation: Craft and curate engaging, high-quality content (posts, stories, images, videos) that resonates with our community and aligns with our mission.
  • Platform Management: Oversee our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), ensuring a consistent and active presence.
  • Community Engagement: Monitor, respond to, and engage with community members across our social media platforms, fostering an interactive and supportive online environment.
  • Brand Advocacy: Uphold and convey Out at Camp’s brand identity and values, promoting our events, initiatives, and the spirit of inclusivity.
  • Analytics: Track and report on social media performance, using insights to optimize future content and strategies.


  • Social Savvy: Proficient with major social media platforms and tools, with an ability to adapt to new trends and technologies.
  • Creativity: A creative mindset with a knack for visual storytelling and content creation.
  • Communication: Excellent writing skills with a flair for capturing attention and communicating effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: An understanding of social media marketing strategies and brand building.
  • Commitment: Ability to dedicate time regularly to manage social media activities, including prompt responses to community interactions.
